Absolute mind-blowing location, jaw-dropping views, and tranquil surroundings. Super convenient access to stunning walks and a short drive to the lake. The kids' area was a bonus for our girls, and the hosts were incredibly lovely. The small but cozy bed was surprisingly comfortable. The area around, with horses, sheep, lambs, and cows. Can't wait to visit again in the spring/summer and enjoy BBQs and walks. Off-site car park, electric kettle, cots, pets allowed, no smoking on site.

The views were stunning, perfect for Instagram. And I loved the free parking, it's not like I have a private chauffeur to drive me around.
Oh dear, no towels provided. How am I supposed to dry myself after my luxurious bubble bath?

The location of this place was superb - nestled in the heart of the beautiful Cumbrian countryside. The views were breathtaking, especially from the terrace where we were able to watch the sunrise. We enjoyed taking our dog on long walks in the area, as there were plenty of gorgeous trails to explore. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
There were a few downsides to our experience. The fridge in the horsebox was quite small, which made it difficult to store all of our food and drinks.

Loved the mountain views and the free private parking. It was like a treasure hunt finding the towels in the holiday home, added excitement to the stay.
Oh, how I adored the lack of mention of the nearest airport or the distance to Scafell Pike and Keswick. Such a mystery!

The chalet at Dobbin The Horse Box In The Lake District was like a cozy little hideaway. It had a lovely balcony, perfect for sipping a cup of tea and taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. The electric kettle and toaster made it easy to start the day with a hot drink and a quick breakfast. It was just the kind of place I wanted to unwind and relax with my family.
I wasn't too keen on the electric kettle and toaster in the chalet. It's just my personal opinion, but I prefer using traditional methods for making my morning cuppa.

I keep coming back to my favorite place in Cockermouth. The helpful staff even gave me currency tips on my first stay. Off-site car park, electric kettle, cots, pets allowed, and no smoking on-site - everything I need. Can't wait to return for Christmas!

Mountain views - The views from the balcony of this charming chalet were absolutely breathtaking. It felt like being on top of the world, surrounded by majestic mountains that stretched as far as the eye could see. It was like staying in a postcard.
Tight bunk space - Slight squeeze for tall adults.
